Anticipated Impact

1. Sustained increased contribution of small water bodies from south western Uganda to the national fishery yield by at least 10% by end 2016

2. Improved nutrition and food security through increased per capita fish consumption in the project area to the FAO average of 17.5 Kg per year.

3. Increased incomes through trade and investment in fish and fisheries enterprises in the project area and neighbouring countries.

4. Increased number of private individuals participating in fish farming (cage culture) in the project area
