Dr. Papius Dias Tibihika is a Ugandan male researcher focussing on the evolutionary biology of African tilapiines in both captivity and natural populations. Based on molecular genetic tools, Papius’s research addresses issues of biodiversity, admixture, introgressive hybridization, breeding, conservation genetics for contributing to the strategies and policty frameworks for sustainable managenet of natural resources/fisheries and aquaculture in Africa.
